Interesting Lee. Recently I had a practice member that had "dysphonia" and was being "treated" for it by a speech pathologist. I was caring for this young women for a different issue, but soon she started to notice that it was changing while under Chiropractic care. Not surprising for me as a Chiropractor because I understand that many, if not all, health issues are the bodies inability to adapt and regulate to a stress, or stressors in the environment.

Stress is is the new blood presure....you may not be able to see it but it can do you in just as if it was seen. I am not a chiropractor. But, as a speech pathologists I have seen ( mainly in women but also in men) what appears to be stress induced dysphonia. This is particularly true at middle age when lifes stressors are more difficult to handle.

This article is great!! All chiropractic students need to be exposed to this type of research. Please can we get away from the double blind random controlled study for low back pain. How played out is this. D.D. had it back in 1895 and the US population is still not ready for it because of "Big Pharma" control.
